In 1999 Victoria Sambunaris received a Master of
Fine Arts degree from Yale University School of
Art in New Haven, Connecticut, where she has
also been an instructor and lecturer. Her work
is in several prominent collections, including the
National Museum of Women in the Arts and the
National Gallery of Art, both in Washington, D.C.
