Susie Yazzie is a nonagenarian Navajo weaver and former actress, author and tribal spokeswoman who was in nearly every film and documentary photo book and newspaper or magazine story about the Navajo made for a generation.
She was in several John Ford films shot at Monument Valley, and still weaves (very good) rugs.
