Susan Pear Meisel

Susan Pear Meisel’s printed images are active in line and color. The artist evolves out of the tradition of Maurice Predergast, Raoul Dufy, and Red Grooms. Whether through silkscreen or lithography, the inked hues carry their tonalities and vibrancy to the surface of the paper.

Meisel lives and works in New York City. She studied at the Art Students League, the School of Visual Arts, Parsons School of design, and the Museum of Modern Art. She has also studied abroad at the University of Florence. Meisel’s works are represented in Public collections of the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, CT, Library of Congress and the Erie Museum, PA.
