Pamela Nelson was born in 1947 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Southern Methodist University. She is married with two children. She taught in museums, colleges, and started a program to teach art to homeless artists. She has also taught yoga at local YMCAs. Pamela Nelson currently lives downtown in a reviving city.
