I’m an Egyptian Artist who has lived in the US for nearly 40 years, has long been a proponent of cross-cultural dialogue. Although I grew up in Egypt, I had spent most of my life in the USA, centering his career in the idea of Egyptian-American cultural exchange. For my art I’m inspired from the most unusual sources. I can be from a hair been shaped by the water, or a casual scene of life that spark an idea. From there, comes the sketches, paint and brushes. My view of life as an artist is that everybody must do his part in the world. Artists cannot carry guns or be doctors, but we can express ourselves with brushes and pencils. That interaction with people must be a mutual understanding.
