Harry Pattison was born in 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Abbott Pattison, American sculptor and painter (1916-1999). He attended Rockford College, Rockford, Illinois, The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, Maine.
