A native of New Orleans, Pelias received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Louisiana’s Newcomb College of Tulane University, and her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans. Her work has been exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions, and she has been an instructor at her alma mater – the University of New Orleans, as well as Delgado Community College.
