Samuel Whiteman

Samuel Whiteman was born in 1860 in Philadelphi, Pennsylvania. He was known as a landscape painter and a teacher. He taught at the Charcoal Club for 25 years and at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He Studied at the Academie Julian, Paris with Boulanger, Constant, Lefebvre 1883-89.
