Born in 1941 in New York City, Brenda Miller was educated at the Parsons School of Design in New York, at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and at Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her work has been exhibited widely and frequently in the United States and abroad since its first appearance at the Billy Apple Gallery in New York in 1970. She speakes, teaches and lectures actively, and her work is represented in many public collections. Brenda continues to work today in her studio in Greenport, Long Island.
