Myron Heise grew up on a farm near Bancroft, Nebraska. He studied art at the University of Omaha, the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, and the Art Students’ League in New York City. He currently lives in New York, where he is part of a group of street painters. He continues to produce numerous works about Nebraska, focusing on identifiable vistas such as farmland and grain elevators.
