Vicki Grant has been working in the field of design for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Architecture, and has practiced on the East Cost for over 25 years. Art is her passion and is demonstrated in all forms of media, from her architectural detailing to recent sculptural forms, many of which are architectonic in character.
Her unusual and complex process makes each sculptural piece unique in form, detail and color. Rare hardwoods, glass, metal, stone, and a variety of natural found objects are incorporate in the pieces. The compositional design and intricate fastening of the pieces are what the artist finds intriguing.
Vicki works for a nationally-ranked architectural firm in Durham, North Carolina and her art studio is in her home on Lake Gaston in North Carolina.
