Gloman is the resident artist at Amherst College, where he has taught for 18 years. He has a master’s degree in painting from the Yale University School of Art in New Haven, Conn. Along with his landscapes, Gloman paints townscapes and scenes with people.
He and his family live in Northampton. His studio is located in Hatfield, where he frequently walks through the fields that line the shores of the Connecticut River.
