Jennifer Cecere

Jennifer Cecere lives and works in New York City. Her work has been shown extensively in Galleries, Museums and diverse public spaces including Van Cortland Park, the Museum of Modern Art/P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, the Cooper-Hewitt, Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art, and The Addison Gallery of American Art, to name a few. She has been commissioned by the NYC MTA, NYC DOT, Socrates Sculpture Park and is in numerous diverse collections including the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation and The Rubell Family Collection. Ms. Cecere’s work has been published and reviewed in The New York Times, Newsday, The Daily News, Art in America, New York Magazine ARTINFO.com. and FiberArts. Work to be installed December 2010 include, a “Doily” for St. George’s Ferry Terminal, Staten Island, NY and in 2011 tree guards for Mrytle Ave, Brooklny, NY. Her Most recent project is Doily Barrier Bike Path, 35-37th street along the FDR Drive. Ms.Cecere is a winner of the Jersey Barrier Design Competition, NYC DOT Fall 2010.
