Alisa Banks

Alisa Banks (b. 1961) is a visual artist whose work centers on issues concerning identity. She often incorporates fibers and found materials that in form reference traditional crafts. Her work, which often relates to Louisiana culture, has been exhibited throughout the US and is in several private and public collections.

Alisa received her BS from Oklahoma State University and her MFA from Texas
Woman’s University. She resides in Dallas, TX.
